In the above "ambitious" photo, would you do the stem first and then go back to the leaves or do you stitch them simultaneously?

When you do outline/stem stitch it's best to not stop and start your line, so I'd do the stem first. Then I'd do the lazy daisies, up one side, then down the other.

I have struggled to learn this stitch and used tons of other instructions but this tutorial did the trick. I loved the clear step by step instructions and accompanying pictures. Thanks so much!
