how I spent my weekend

Cleaned my studio...check
Cut out more sachet stacks (a customer bought out my supply)...check
Worked on the baby quilt (getting there)...check
Finished the custom baby pillow...check

And here's a photo of the finished pillow.

bird pillow

Sorry for the darkish picture. It was sunny for like 5 minutes this morning and I missed my window of opportunity. For the week probably. It's going to be really cold with the possibility of snow flurries. No matter—I have so much indoor stuff to do!

What a weekend you had! Knew that pillow would be adorable. Saturday made it up to 57 Sunday 35 with snow showers, but this is Ohio, wait a day or two it'll be in the 50's again. At least it was a great weekend to get things done.

Wow! This pillow is gorgeous! I love the finished product! And you did have a busy weekend! Mine was spent going to an awesome playoff football game and snuggling up in my new teeshirt quilt, cleaning house and setting up an aquarium for my Mom.. fun times lol

How adorable. I get so inspired every time I come here. I've been going through my stash of embroidered pieces and 've learned so much referring to your stitch school posts. Now if only I could figure out what to stitch myself.

Lovely.
If I commissioned one of these from you, I'd ask you to embroider a button on it somewhere.

That is so sweet! I love the tiny blue print, it goes so well with your embroidered piece.

Kim, it's actually the other way around—I chose the floss colors to exactly match the fabric!
