thanks for sharing

Not! All winter I've listened to friends talk about and viewed photos of their unusual amounts of snow—the snow that piled up all around us but somehow just missed us every time. Not this time. We had about 13 inches when we went to bed last night. And 22 inches this morning. And it's still coming down hard.

The barbecue grill has a pointy hat. The snow is just up to the wooden railing on the screened porch and is starting to come in through the screen. My cats have been "skating" out there all morning.

The snow plows go by every hour or so but there are very few cars out and it's pretty quiet. A good day to curl up with a book and a cup of something warm to drink. Clearing the driveway will have to wait.

What a wonderful way to wake up. I always get more crafty on days like that. Enjoy your day with something hot and stay warm.

Oh it's so great to see someone else with snow! :) LOL We've had more than enough this year in Va. I'm ready for spring too! Enjoy the snow! Ha, I would love to see your kitties skating! :)

Well, I think that makes up for any lack of snow you had before!

Stay warm and be safe!

Do you think you'll be able to find your driveway?

Wow! We just got an inch overnight....uhg...but, nothing like you all. Shadow loves it...the kittens want nothing to do with the outside. You've got a great idea. Just got the new 'Flea Market Style' magazine, but I have to go to work

Well, my husband had the snowblower out for hours yesterday afternoon so the driveway is sort of cleared off - slow going because it was really deep. It was so bad here yesterday that they suspended mail delivery for the whole area - I don't remember that happening before.

How pretty. I know, it doesn't look pretty to you but I like it when it snows for one day.. and then melts. Hope yours goes quickly. Great day to curl up with a book.
