Hi Janet! I don't do much embroidery (though I did use one of your stitches on a tote I made) but I enjoy your blog. :) I was wondering if you've ever seen Armenian embroidery. I think you'd love it. Not really. Fagoting is done over a small parallel group of stitches and looks like a little bundle. In fact the word faggot, or fagot, usually refers to a bundle of sticks or branches.
That's a lovely stitch. Great for a trim. :)
