
Ranier cherries, that is. The best cherries. Ever. Don’t be scared off by their high price – you’d spend as much on a restaurant dessert. And they’re a once-a-year treat anyway. Sweet and juicy and not at all like the red ones. This plateful barely survived the time it took to photograph them. Yum!

I just tried these for the first time last week - I think my batch wasn't quite ripe! I'll definitly be getting them again though! I love cherry season!
I bought some last week and it was too early—they were still a bit tart. This batch was much better.
I just had some lovely sweet Rainiers with breakfast today. I like these much more than red cherries. Mmmm. Great photo, by the way!
